Welcome to our Garden!

Where kids get dirty

Learn to grow their own food

The importance of good nutrition

How to care for their environment

The kids at Cobb Mountain Elementary School LOVE their garden!  They get to spend time outdoors, or in the greenhouse, learning how to produce their own food and to be considerate stewards of their environment.

March 2016
After the Valley Fire burned the forest around the school, the Kiwanis Club of Lakeport donated several hundred seedlings for the students to replant their beloved trees. Foresters, Jim Harvey, Jim Wright and Gerri Finn, came to garden class to teach the students how to plant the seedlings correctly. Thank you, 6th graders, for making this video!

“This asparagus is blowing my mind!  Why didn’t anyone tell me it was this good?”
